At the Department's Banquet on Saturday Chief Weston told the story of the Department receiving a call for an 79 yr old male with Alzheimer who had gone missing on the night of May 23,2011 at 21:21 hours. Shortly after arriving on scene Chief Weston set up two crews with both having an Thermal Imagining Camera. Each crew was given an area to search in. After only 45 minutes of searching the crew of David Morgans, David Jones, Asst. Chief Donnie Jones, and Jesse Jones came upon the gentleman buried up to his chest in mud in a swamp area. After receiving additional equipment the patient was package and carried out of the swamp. It is presumed with the cool night and the patient being wet he might not have survived through the night. So it is with Honor that the Chief presents to these dedicated members with this LIFE SAVING AWARD.
