WVFD 2016 year end review


Sunday, January 22, 2017 WVFD personnel answered 603 calls for service in 2016 with 337 of those as EMS related incidents and 266 fire related incidents . Personnel spent an average of 22 minutes on scenes with an average of 6 personnel one each call provideng 79, 596 hours of service to our community on calls. WVFD personnel provided 800 hours of personnel hours towards work nights and fundraising activities, 1,238 personnel hours didicated to training. Members spend countless hours away from their families to provide a valuable service to our community that otherwise would cost the taxpayers of Westmoreland millions of dollars in taxes to fund.
