Yearly Hose Testing

Sunday, April 6, 2014 08:00am Not so fun job of being in the fire department is the yearly hose testing. This is when ever piece of hose is pulled off each truck and laid out and tested at 250psi for 5 minutes. You then drain it all and repack it back onto the trucks. It is very labor intense but it is required to ensure that all the hose is up to it's qualifications. But even being time and labor intense, it's a time for the guys and girls to get out and enjoy working together and sharing the BROTHERHOOD.
